Denise Glückert began her professional career working at the West Family Sweet Shoppe and Restaurant on Nantucket’s Main Street nearly two decades ago. She learned the art of chocolatiering and business science from her mentors John and Kathy West and experienced the joy of creating great food and the satisfaction of being a part of a family managed business.

Denise has continued to develop her chocolate business expertise as the Nantucket Chocolatier’s customer base expanded. She studied the art and science of chocolate making and toured the great chocolate shoppes of Europe. Denise has also developed and marketed new products, managed the building of new facilities, added new equipment, and most importantly, recruited an employee family of exceptional managers and a dedicated crew to create our extraordinary gift chocolates and provide excellent customer service.
